residential house k in erfurt

built 2009

This residential building came into being in Erfurt’s manorial villa district on a large urban estate with adjoining river course and protected tree population.
The owner was inspired by the style of English country houses. The task accordingly was to accommodate this design theme to the given urban conditions.

In the interior, the affinity to classical tradition is reflected through the use of noble building materials such as Solnhofen stone, strip flooring and massive period-style doors. The residential concept is underlined by the roomy three-storey entrance hall and the spacious living area with fireplace and adjoining terrace.
